Police were called to the match after a worksop supporter a pop at the chief steward. Two police vans and a police car arrived and made sure all the supporters left QUITELY!

The chief steward is a bit of a f*****g prat as the same thing happened at the Marine v Barrow match on Tuesday. The steward called the police and 7 YES 7! police cars arrived at the match.

The steward would not let them into the bar and said to one of them, "Outside now, and i'll sort you out".

All I can say to the officials is GET A NEW CHIEF STEWARD!

It's nice to see somebody who shares the same opinion about this arsehole! We have had trouble with him for the past 7 seasons and STILL he keeps his job. I was beginning to think that he saves it all for the Barrow matches.
It reflects badly on your club to have a tool like that on your books, imagine how much money he's cost you in lost takings!)

In addition to the previous postings that have been made you forgot to mention a few other things. Throwing people out of the bar at half-time and also getting his mates round when he was getting abuse himself. This only made the situation worse on Tuesday. His mates stood next to the Barrow fans giving abuse, when Barrow fans responded he threatened he'd throw us out. After the game he gave descriptions to police of alleged Barrow trouble causers. The police just looked at what was going on and made sure there was no trouble, which there wasn't because everyone just left after we couldn't get into the bar. In fact credit to the police for not making the situation worse by believeing the steward.

This man is trouble waiting to happen. When will the marine directors do SOMETHING.
As with others credit to the police, they just stood and watched. When I asked them to look at the age profile of the Worksop "troublemakers" (14 to 75) one car and two vans left leaving judt 3 officers and we had a laugh with them.
Come on Marine this man is costing you SERIOUS money, do something.
Mind you they will probably take action against visiting supporters.
Boycott their facilities until something is done!!!!
