Yet again we were blessed by Droylsden's travelling army of 20. Good performance by Droylsden, shame about the isolated incident in the crowd where some w--ker (a Hyde fan I think) got into a bit of trouble, can't relly comment though 'cos I was queueing for my pies. Shame about that manager you've got - has he ever considered plastic surgery?

It was a Droylsden fan who was chanting but was also swearing so a Hyde fan who has kids told him to pipe down because he had kids and this Droylsden fan took issue with him and words were exchanged and then punches were exchanged. The Droylsden fan was totally to blame as he started the fight and the other bloke was just trying to defend himself. His kids were in tears and probabely won't want to come again, it was a disgraceful incident. Apparently this Droylsden fan has been banned from a few grounds before for fighting.

Hyde played poorly and full credit to Droylsden who wanted it more in front of a good crowd of 425

Ashton United will be in town on Tuesday, so it will be a good test to see if we are up to Premier Division standards. 3rd place again will see us in the playoffs, probably against Frickley.

Sorry Nigel slight typing mistake. I'm looking forward to Tuesday though, should be a good match and put up more of a fight than Hyde did!! Would be nice if you did come up this season so we could have Easter Monday and Boxing Day battles against local rivals since Hyde dont see us as an attractive fixture for these days. Would be espeically welcome if Hyde were to take your place though.

To Tom and Luke, I don't know anything of this incident with one of your fans. Us true Droylsden fans can only apologise for this behaviour whoever started it and we should be able to enjoy football without the Professional clubs fans attitude coming to our level.
