No, I'm not being rude, they were beaten 11-0 last night by Stalybridge in the League Shield thingy.

I can only presume that Lancaster fielded an understrength team last night with having the FA Cup tie on Saturday.

Perhaps this is the start of the downfall of Lancaster. They normally drop away in the league before now. I guess they've been lucky? I know Gateshead have been so far.

It was the Reserves

To be fair to Lancaster, there were no first team players involved. According to tonight's Lancashire Evening Post, it was a reserve/youth team and all the subs were 16-yr olds.
