I probably experienced the most exciting game as a Hyde supporter in the FA Trophy away at Ossett Town. Ossett were all over us in the 1st half which wasn't actually that good - fortunately they only scored 1 goal but they showed why they were at the top of the table. The 2nd half was full of incident - it was dominated by Hyde. Very very poor decisions from the officials turned the game into a joke but in the end made the game much more exciting - Ossett went down to ten-men and Simon Yeo was lucky not to get sent off after pushing the linesman. We had a fine goal dissalowed for offside when the player was coming back from an offside position and a clear penatly was dismissed. Anyway, in the 3rd minute (or so) of injury time a hopeful shoit was put into the Hyde net by a former Tigers defender Brendan Aspinall who gave the Hyde fans something to celebrate - even the old men were bouncing around. Personally, I chose the leap onto the pitch option which was good fun. Credit to Ossett though who played well.
