I've read on a few messages that Ilkeston Town are seriously considering joining the UniBond next season - their fans think they'll walk the league

Anyway, has anyone else heard about Ilkeston joining, or is it just a rumour?

Personally, I hope it doesn't happen. Besides, I can't be arsed going down there on the train next season, if we stay up...

makes you laugh though, just cos burton who have finished top three in the dml for the last squillion seasons have run away with the npl this season, they think that our league is a piece of piss!!

someone analysed results between us, doc martens and ryman in the trophy and cup and we won.

Seems feasible as they have just appointed John McGinlay from Gr**ley R**vers as their new manager and he lives up north. Can't see him wanting to go to Newport IOW on a Tuesday night!
