The following is an extract from the BBC website's coverage of the 'Ginola signing for Stanley' story yesterday...

"Chris Waddle, who has played in a World Cup semi-final, could be found turning out for a Sheffield pub team last year. But Geordie Waddle is perhaps more down-to-earth than the Riviera-born Ginola, whom it is hard to imagine turning up with his £3 subs each week."

BBC online ran a feature a few weeks ago about how Chris Waddle played a game as a guest for a pub team, but I'm not sure where from. However, this'll probably explain it.
