There are a possible 8 teams vying for the play-offs, probably are far down as Guiseley. Harrogate look to have it sewn up and one of Radcliffe / Ossett Town for second, but who will the other three be and will Hyde make up the numbers from the Premier Div. or will it be Colwyn Bay, Whitby or Bishops....?
Can Ashton reach the top five whilst all about them are tripping up?
The 6th and 9th of May look to be interesting days.
How many teams still have their season alive and something to play for.
will stay up, colwyn bay will be second from bottom and hyde will play in the play offs, and after watching them the other day, i hope they go down 2.
bamber are a dead loss now, its certain they will go down.
are there ne teams that u guys support due to play at whitby for the rest of this season??
GH
I agree that Hyde will reach the play offs. I, unlike a lot of people, am confident we can win at Accrington on Saturday. We've been controlling games against the teams near the top all season and it's about time we won one, hopefully it'll come this Saturday. If results go our way then we'll be out of the automatic relegation zone completely, but I think Colwyn will go down but I hope it's Whitby - who we play in a few weeks.
Why do people on these sites talk such bloody rubbish.I don't actually hope that ANY particular team goes down - I'm just hoping against hope that my own team (Whitby) stay up.
I wish everyone would stop referring to Bamber Bridge as Bamber, as if Bridge was like the United in Hyde United. Bamber Bridge is a place, a dump granted, but a place nonetheless. If you have to abbreviate it then Brig is better, or I can think of about 10 others but most of them would get me banned from the site
And in response to the post about Lancashire teams looking after one another, all I can say is none of you were obviously at Marine vs Matlock on the last day of the 1991-92 season when shall we say Matlock were very nicely looked after at the expense of Chorley.
Manchester and Lancashire sides looking after each other?

I don't think so. I'll bet you any money that if it goes to the last day of the season Colwyn Bay will beat Droylsden - Dave Pace has already written in the 'paper about how he'd love to see Hyde go down.
they took 3 pts from us, almost cheating, but when we win we will b described as cheats.
hmm sorry u cudnt make it to whiby tom, mayb in the cup next season
I also remember Chorley losing "surprisingly" to Buxton on the last day of the season about 5 years back which sent Droylsden down. I don't remember any instances of clubs helping each other out, perhaps you can enlighten us.
On the subject of dodgy play though didn't a certain NE club (like Spennymoor) contrive a 4-4 draw against Gretna in a league cup match earlier this season in order to avoid Barrow in the next round? I think they went 4-1 up and then "accidentally" let a few in in the last few minutes.
They missed out. Although Ashton eventually lost to Barrow 5-4, it was the most entertaining match I had been to in a long time. I remember Tom saying that he had been along and also enjoyed it.
P.S. If Hyde do come down, it will give us someone other than Trafford to play Bank Holiday matches against. Saying that, I would prefer to make the play-offs, go up and being Playing both Hyde and Droylsden next season.
I had the 'pleasure' of travelling to Whitby last season to see Hyde win 3-1 in front of a 'bumper' crowd.
Should be a good game at Ewen Fields in a few weeks. Let's hope you bring that old man of a fan who replied suprisingly to chants of 'Get your teeth out for the lads' last season What a chap!
