ALFRETON Town smashed ten past Blidworth Welfare on Saturday as the Reds - expectedly - overpowered and overwhelmed their Central Midlands League Premier Division hosts.
The Reds led 6-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Ryan France (6 mins from the penalty spot), Steve Heath (22), Carl Bradshaw (24), Mick Goddard (32), Jamie Robshaw (36) and Darren Brookes (42).
Town added four more in the second period as substitute Steve Johnson (48) had his early strike added to by Ryan Hindley (50), Robshaw's second of the game on 72 and man of the match Mark Highfield on 87. |
