yup, got a draw off them and played very well, managed to equalise in the last minute, having taken a 4th minute lead - competed well, and the first pre season side to score more than one against them.

well happy

The other great Manchester side lost 4-3 at Woodley Sports today

Hyde took an early lead through Rob Woodhead. A free kick missed the Woodley defence and he finished nicely with a cushioned volley at the far post.

Woodley equalised just before half time with a low shot from the edge of the area. Just before the whistle the linesman old myself and Luke that he wished the ref would blow his bleedin' whistle.

Lee Evans put Hyde back in the lead witha low shot but sub Mike Norton scored twice in 2 minutes although Dave Nolan scored a half volley to equalise for Hyde.

However, Woodley scored a late goal and took the 4-3 win against Hyde's second string.
