Hucknall still unbeaten - excellent 3-0 away win last night. Don't suppose for one minute the Hucknall public will notice, and actually turn out, but never mind..!
That is a pity as usually success brings people to the ground.Certainly here at Alfreton that is the case. Still, well done for a good start and for supporters such as you that are loyal and go whatever the resul You never know, success just might just bring some out! And I thought Alfreton was the centre of Apathy at times!!
There was 1036 (officially) on at Stanley last night for a midweek league game!! Not many Vauxhall fans either. So it can happen - we have a lot of woodwork fans but who cares? Its cash generation at the end of the day (especially with Burnley doing so crap at the moment - we are getting a few temporary defectors which is great for us - I aint knockin anyone who pays their hard earned money to come thru those turnstiles - all welcome!!!).
According to the non league paper, it sounds as though Bradford were hard done by last night - mind you, saying that, the match report probably came from the Jim Brassic department!! ONLY KIDDIN JB, had to be said mate. Whilst we're on the subject of BPA, Im not going to wait until the end of the season, I'll say it now - MANY MANY thanks for Dean Calcutt! You were right, hes good. But he had a quiet one last night. Thank god Lutel didnt!!
Hi Jimbo
nice to see Stanley are getting the support they deserve!
I think you will no doubt win the league this year!
How many of your supporters are taking advantage of the £799 lifetime season tickets! A real money saver for the conference and beyond?
The report to theie mailing list say's Hucknall were the better side, and deserved the points. My source says we played well, and deserved at least a draw, but we took our chances, and Bradford didn't. I just hope for more on Saturday. starting to get greedy now.!!
Now then Andy don't get greedy. We have had an excellent start to the season as well so it's the battle of the unbeaten ones tomorrow. Unfortunately I won't be there owing to another commitment but will be looking for the result with interest. May the best team win.
