Ashton won their third game on the trot against a competent Droylsden outfir who outplayed Ashton for long spells in the game.

The only goal of the game fell to Lee Blackshaw, who having come on as a sub, volleyed home from close range late in the second half.

Ashton up to 5th, and some Barrow fans say we will be relegated this season after beating them midweek 3-0, I don't think so.

Story of our season!!! We have been all over teams and have failed to kill them off. We need a great striker to complete the team. Ashton's keeper does look like a great one, but we never really threatened him too much for all our possession!!!
