I'm well and truly fed up of the clear lack of discipline shown by the players and management of Blyth Spartans over recent weeks.
Since the start of the season, 5 red cards have been racked up, and it seems once again the match at Emley was marred by scuffles. In these cases it takes two to tango, but the incident seems to have been provoked by Glen Robson, who has gone totally out of control in recent weeks.
As a fan of some 8 years, I'm seriously considering whether I want to associate myself with a club that has such poor discipline, but more worryingly does nothing about it. At home on saturday we rose above Runcorn's indimidation to get a victory, but away from home all we seem to cause is trouble.
The club want to attract fans. If people want to see a fight they'll go to a boxing match.
Let's have some football.
If this situation is not rectified, I can see crowds slipping below 200 this season.
Our managers are no better, running and screaming at the ref instead of concentrating on the players.
Sort it out, otherwise there will be a lot of fans like me who have simply had enough. |
