well people i know its only early but who are the favourites in your eyes for the title? have 2 admit its gonig to be close this year with Worksop,Accrington,and Bradford fighting it out in my honest view at the start of the season lancester were my favs as they came close last season! i see andy whittaker is already on 13 14 goals this season is any1 going 2 over take him at the top of the goalscoring charts? what you think?
for me it's between worksop and stanley. stanley have points in the bag but worksop looked the better team by a margin when we played them, but that can be deceptive.
avenue will be solid all season, but we haven't the cash to truely compete with the wages paid by most of the clubs in this league.
But doesn't it make you smile when you see your team beating the so called bigger clubs in the league!
we (whitby) must be the poorest team in the team in terms of budget, although how you'd measure that i do not know!
it took whitby until february to get this many points last season!!
I think most whitby folk will say that BPA were the best team we've seen this season!
Us playing cakka and you playing well made for a one sided game that should have been 10-0!!
well over the last few seasons, we saw stalybridge go up (and come down!!) beating Emley at the top, then we saw Burton go top (though their way to the top was helped by 10 minutes refs) with vauxhall coming "close".
outsiders in my opinion have (for the last few seasons) have been accy stan, worksop, lancaster and emley. Accy r doin well this season and wud like to see them go up, although burscough look a strong side, is that due to the 20 grand cash incentive? and barrow have been pushing for a place, they havent come high in my views.
Worksop have always put in a good bid, although for the compertition side, i would like to see them stay. Lancaster is my fave ground, beats all the rest (that ive seen) so they have to stay:) and emley? well where are they this season?

I think Accy Stanley will go up.. But I think it will be tight.. A lot tighter than it is now. A week on sat we are at home to worksop and that will be a biggy 6 pointer and could tell us a lot
I suppose my heart want stanley to go up as I was a round at the time of their demise in the past and I have had a interest in their revival and climb up the leagues. However, I think it will be tight and as a neutral(and as any neutral) in this particular discussion, then that will be good for the league in general.
Promotion: Between Accy and Worksop. The next top six in any order: Bradford, Barrow, Burscough, Vauxhall, Stalybridge and Droylsden.
Relegation: Colwyn Bay and Hyde
Whoever gets the Hyde job permanantly has got big job on their hands (Gordon Hill has taken over for this weekend only) but we've got half a good team. It's just the other half letting the side down.
It's between us, Frickley and Colwyn Bay. But an outsider always gets dragged in - like Burscough and Gainsborough last season.
I havnt seen Worksop yet but Accy wernt that good in my eyes and Stalybridge-Accy was not a 1-4 scoreline. yeah they were better but not by that margin. I think Worksop will win the title this year with accy second and Celtic third. It all depends on accy bad patch. I feel that our bad patch is over now (drawn 1 won 2 in last 3 games) and we have got fairly easy games ahead - Gateshead, Frickley, Emley, Gainsborough. Hopefully we will continue our rise.
