The local power company (whatever they are called this week) have found the source of the blackouts that have hit the Hurst Cross area of Ashton over recent days, forcing the abandonment/postponement of two fixtures in that time. No date has been given, but hopefully now the fault has been located repair work can begin to safeguard the Xmas fixtures at Hurst Cross.
