Do you really think you can get auto promotion having to play sonmething like 22 games in 10 weeks. It is possible you will beat us on Tuesday but as for promotion I don't think so.
We can afford one more defeat against Ferriby's result and still finish second. By the way we haven't as yet ruled out Top spot. Sorry gordon, Alfreton seem to have hit there slump and have to play us twice, I think there is stil a lot of life in the championship race, alas I think too many games in too short a time will cost Spennypoor.
There is much life left in the league.Alfreton are 9 pts clear but are in a slump. As for speenymoor they may have just too many games to really have a chance.I have always said that there is no forgone conclusion in the Div1 and teams are poised to have a run at us.That 9 pt cushion will really be needed and nothing is taken for granted here at Alfreton, I can assure you. Next Saturday will be the test for both Spennymoor and Alfreton.
