wow, that was some week for frickley, beating vauxhall and celtic!! bet that's put the wind up some certain north east clubs at the bottom! that result means (if my maths is correct) that stanley now only need about 8 more points from their last 9 games to be certain of going up, so well done to our former manager coz I honestly didn't think you'd hang in there.
if anyone hasn't seen, burscough got aylesbury in the semi's of the vase, so good luck to the lads.

oh and by the way, ashton won our semi in the unibond president's cup and meet celtic in our second all tameside final of the season.

Eeeerm 15 not 8

If the other teams win every single game to the end of the season then the best they can achieve is as follows.

Vauxhall Played 34 Points 63 Poss 93
Barrow Played 35 Points 64 Poss 91
Worksop Played 33 Points 56 Poss 89
Staly Celt Played 37 Points 65 Poss 86

Accrington Played 35 Points 79 Req another 15 points to make 94. However one of the games in against Vauxhall so beat them and our target is only 92

Yes a very good week for Frickley Athletic, add the name of Worksop to Vauxhall and Stalybridge Celtic and we have 3 wins on the bounce against top of the table sides. A few weeks ago the forum was asked who would fill the play off spot. Frickley were then the obvious choice, what do people think now, especially with Blyth loosing heavily at Bradford tonight! Blyth, Frickley and Gateshead have still to play each other, current form suggests Frickley can get out of the bottom three, but we all know that football's never as simple as that. Also will the 3rd bottom be in the play offs? Remember last year, due to various circumstances Bamber Bridge who finished bottom made the play offs! Does anyone know of any skeletons in the cupboard this year?

It depends on who the league decide to chuck out on the unfit grounds scenario. Will they be so keen to dump clubs with the conference situation going on in the background??

They'll do whatever it takes to keep Hyde up I suppose!
