I know that we dont know who will come up/down to the unibond premier but who do you thnik will be in the title race next season. I think that us (stalybridge) will win the title next season as this year we was finding our feet and sorting out who is good or not and next season will be ours. i think that barrow, worksop and maybe alty will contest the title. all depedns on who coms down if any. it could be anyone at the moment, leigh, southport or northwich as if three get relegated then they are all in trouble. if southport or northwich then they wil be in the title race as well.
They will get a reprieve due to the fact that no team comes down from the Conference and Alfreton and Radcliffes toilets are 3cm too small. They will stay up and Padi Wilson will be top scorer with 78! and thats just in the league. They will also win the FA Trophy and get to the 4th round of the FA Cup beating Man U. in the 3rd round on the way. In the 4th round they lose 26-0 to Preston North End. LOVL
Blyth just lose out on the title. Having won every game up until January, Premiership clubs come raiding and buy the top players. David McMahon who up to that point had scored 37 goals was snapped up by Arsenal for £4m and Spartans never recover from his loss. Recruiting fan Matt as new centre forward was a bad move, he was banned for 6 months for knocking out a referee and linesman with a brick. In the end they were pipped to the post by Knowsley, with Rhyl and Real Madrid a point behind.
Who other than a Celtic fan could start a string about how they are going to win the next years title before this season is over? Nice to see Ashton winning the Unibond Championship last weekend (admittedly we won it for Accrington Stanley by drawing with Barrow, but it's probably the only chance I'll ever get to say that statement), well done John Coleman and troops for a consistent season and lets save the predictions until after the summer holidays...
