Keith Alexander's Lincoln City squad that have reached the Millennium Stadium for the 3rd Division play-off final contains at least six players with Unibond pedigrees. Each of the Unibond clubs in Tameside provided one member of the squad ~ 3 goal hero Simon Yeo (ex Hyde) along with Chris Cornelly (ex Ashton), Ben Futcher (ex Bridge) and Chris Ward (ex Bloods), plus Dean Cropper (ex Worksop) and Mark Bailey (ex Lancaster). Chris Ward who used to play for Barrow is also in their squad but I don't know if he ever played at Unibond level.

Chris Ward played for Lancaster about three season back, from where he was sold onto Birmingham City before joining Barrow, then Leigh.

It was Scott Willis that used to play for Droylsden who is currently at Lincoln.
