It looks like Paul David is about to going to be announced as Ronnie Glavins replacement.
PD has been with the club for eleven years now and played in just about every position (including goals) during that time.
Good luck to him - this season is not likely to be the easiest in the clubs history. Glavin will be a hard act to follow. Lets hope that PD can can get the same level of workrate and commitment out of the squad that he had as as a player.
Greg Fee the ex-gainsborough boss is likely to be his coach.
This is not 100%. Don't know where the info in Huddersfield Examiner came from but I've heard another story that an official announcement is due on Monday - someone else is in the frame.
FORMER Town player Ian Banks is the manager of Wakefield and Emley.
Paul David, who has been tipped to succeed Ronnie Glavin at the UniBond League club, has been made assistant to Banks.
Ex-Emley goalkeeper Ray Dennis, who has been in charge of the Reserves, will also be involved in first-team coaching at Belle Vue.
Barnsley old boy Banks ended his playing days with a four-year stint at Emley, and has since been assistant manager to Nicky Law at Chesterfield and Bradford.
