Hello friends. Just a quick not to let you know that my unofficial Gretna website has moved to its new home at; www.intheteam.com/gretnafc

If anybody wishes to exchange links just drop me an e-mail.

Things are looking good at Gretna with multi millionaire Brooks Mileson having bought the club.
Next season we are turning full time and we have already signed two big star names in ex sheff utd and birmingham star, David Holdsworth.
We have also just snapped up Partick Thistles captain from last season, Danny Lennon.

If any of you get the chance please come up and watch us, we are doing some good stuff and as a club we a rapidly progressing.

Thanks.

Why has this been left in the UniBond Forum? It's about a Scottish club? It's just as bad as those bloomin' pop-ups.

as a Witton fan I always throughly enjoyed our trips up to Gretna! (Think they enjoyed us coming too!)
A few of us were going to come up last season for your final game but it wasn't so convienient in the end - I'm sure we'll pay you a visit sometime.

Many people at Witton always look out for your results in the club after the matches and one fan still has a Gretna scarf in his porch he bought on a trip north!
Enough of me rambling - keep us posted.
David Holdsworth - very good signing I'd have thought.

Remember being at Raydale Park in the pissing rain a few seasons back, won 2-1 up there, Karl Payne got em both... about 63 people there.

Good luck to em,

Trips to Gretna

July 10 2003, 10:37 AM

I think you'd have to be a bit mean not to wish Gretna well in the Scottish League. Having seen them twice last season in their new surroundings I thought they had handled the move well, although the standard of football may not be much better-put it this way, East Stirlingshire would struggle badly in UniBond One.
