The season is ending in farce with the Spennymoor saga resulting in docked points and goals for the main championship contenders.
Then again nothing suprises me after last season when Lincoln United were allowed to replay a match against Workington after refusing to resume after the referee got injured, despite the fact that a qualified linesman in the Workington party had offered to run the line.
Their should be resignations on the governing body and Spennymoor of course should be banned from the league.
Ok - but I'm not really sure who should resign and why?
When a club goes bust during the season their record is expunged, as it is in the football league, conference league and every other league as far as I know.
It's hard cheese on Workington et al, but I really don't think there's another way of doing it. Your anger should be directed towards Spennymoor, whose behaviour (as a club, not including the fans in this..) has been disgraceful.
