I've just been reading through all my Sunday soccer papers and discovered that three former Leek players, who were all at Harrison Park last term, were sent off playing for their new clubs on Saturday:
Dale Hawtin, now playing for Hyde United, was sent off after 33 minutes for two bookable offences at Ewan Fields in the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Colwyn Bay;
Danny Davidson, in his first full outing for Hereford United, was dissmissed for retaliation shortly before the break at Margate with his side 2-0 up. Margate scored twice in the second half to nick a point;
Finally, Bradley Sandeman went for the early bath in the 70th minute as his new club, Kidsgrove Athletic, crashed out of the FA Cup by a 4-1 scoreline at Arnold Town.
Oh dear!!
