Ive heard a little roumor & this came form someone talking to norton lea. He said that norton told him that the owners of the 7 isl clubs had paid 11,000 each to get a weekly 1hr t.v slot on sky sports 2. Being a little unsure of this i e-mailed the isl & the response i got was
"a press release will be made shortly on iceweb.co.uk"
To me this means, yes its true but we don want to tell you its true, anyone else heard this??

What would be great is Sky TV doing a Live game once a week. Broadcasted at a time when no other games are being played. (Like they do with the football 12oclock kickoff)

THere is no other way to raise the profile of the game than TV.

Now if the ISL/CLUBS have got a good slot (around 6ish 7ish) it could be great. If it is on during the graveyard shift then they can forget it because that is no good. It will have very little impact on the games profile at a late/early hour.

Is it true that there is going to be a mass clearout in the ISL?

Also is Paul Kruse going to stay?
I heard somewhere Ally could join the panthers next season

more of a highlights/round-up kind of program with the way it was described but i presume if they got enough viewers they may have live games on, maybe finals to start with & go on to normal league games from there. A good idea, just hope it works, its what the sort needs at the moment. I didnt see much t.v last night but did we get a mention for winning the play-offs on look north or calendar, just wondered cos the local coverage has gone down hill recently too.

I have connections with my old primary school to which Marc Laniel and Paul Kruses littlies go to. I've been told Kruses daughter has left for the summer but he's asked the school to save her a spot for September!!!

Nottingham weekend:

After a great convo wit uncle nort (who is a smashing bloke) i learned this

1 - Ticket prices will be £12 n £8, the play offs were a 'guinea pig'

2 - Paul Kruse is NOT retiring. Westerdale caught kruse at a bad time when he FELT like it

3 - 6 players have ALREADY confirmed they will be returning to the club next summer.

MIKE TORCHIA n Blaser has signed a contract for his return to the team nxt year, it only needs the signature of uncle nort, who when i asked said he had not signed owt.

From a freind who was talkin to one of the players (she did not say who, so this might not be true but does make sense)

Eoin McInernny has not played caus blaser will not play him caus eoin has too much gob on him

Allison is not playing for us.......... and is not playing at all. He is returning to canada to become a MOUNTY.
