According to DS this morning, MB is talking to 8 players only from last season, Ryan Bach is one of them
but Ryan at the moment wants to look at other options, but if he comes back to the UK then it will be to Sheffield. If you take Ryan as being one of the 8 then according to DS the other 7 would surprise most people. There will be no contract offers to anyone for weeks rather than days. They are also talking to ex Sheffield Steeler about returning, they have been talking to him since Monday. Stephen
Im trying to think in Blaisers POV. He's coached Sebby for 3 seasons now I can't see him not being retained because of a debateable bad season.
But could be wrong who knows what Mike really thinks.
Alli well... I think we got the same situation with him and Lipsett dont we. Both could return but it would blow a massive hole in our budget and there will be no shortage of offers elsewhere.
I agree with you totally, but what I would say is that having had numberous trophies maybe its time to move on anyway and put your energy into something new
Humansteel, are you saying that you would not have Brown back or are you saying that you think Blaiser would not want him back.
I don't know about anyone else but i think that Brown is a very talented player with huge potential, and despite blaiser having the pop at him i think that he will try and get him back. Although i could see him in the AHL.
Sorry, but my impressions of Brown was that he was a liability, made lots of mistakes and daft plays - never looked good enough to me, all IMHO of course.
He might have made some mistakes at the beginning of the season, but look at how hes improved! He makes gr8 checks, when things are looking bad, he has a fair few pops at the goalie, he's a gr8 guy on and off ice and I'd luuuuuuuuv 2 see him back in Steelers colours! I'm sure he won't hold a grudge against Blaiser after all, Blaiser was only telling him what needed to be said to improve the guys performance be sides, he was not the only one to get the back hand!

Dont agree with you there im afraid, you only have to listen to the crowd in the arena, and his name is not one of them doing the rounds, but then again perhaps im the only one who thinks that ali is overrated, for the last half of the season he seems to have given up as tho he is afraid to get in there and have ago.i think it is time he moved on and made way for new blood !!!
but if your not happy with the performances of Brownie (whos name I've had printed on my shirt, that I'm also VERY proud of) or Ally, then who has impressed you?

Well i would have to say that Ricky has always impressed me, when he goes out onto that ice he is like a pit bull, he may be small but he's quick and not afraid to get in there and have a go, also Kruser because he plays well and always looks after his boys.
Sorry, but have to disagree with you on Lipsett. He said early on in the game that he had no wish to return and that he'd be looking into other European teams.
The others are more believable, and I think the other is Brown. He's been (in my eyes) the most impressive and has definately developed since early on in the season. Come back Brownie!!!
I HOPE the ex Steeler is Warren Norris! Shorty seems to have calmed down a bit in the run up to the
Play-offs but I still don't think he'd want to return. Others will probably disagree though!
