The Sheffield Steelheads netminder Andy ( Baggi ) Bagshaw has been chosen to play for Great Britain in the forthcoming tour of Canada. To assist in raising the funds he needs to pay for this we have arranged an event called " Baggithon " next sunday at Virtual Ice Inline , Shaw Lane ,Eastwood Trading Est , Rotherham. The fun starts at 17.45hrs when for £1 you get to take five rapid shots at GB's newest goalie , a prize will go to the person who scores the most goals in the least time , this is definately one for "slapshot scuff" to enter At 18.30 we start a game against our nearest and dearest.. the Mid Life Madness ( Sheffield Samurai Parents ). With guest referee Rick Brebant this is our version of Steelers V Panthers all over again. After the game we invite you to the bar where there will be a quiz and several raffles. Prizes include up to £50 of gift vouchers from Virtual Ice , a five course meal for two at the Koh I Noor restaurant ( near Don Valley Stadium ) and other mystery prizes. For those who haven't been before this place is an excellent facility newly enhanced by the very smart bar which overlooks the main arena. Please come along and help send Baggi to Canada to represent Great Britain.

So are the Steelheads representing the Panthers these days then Mark? cos there's only going to be one winner in this game, and it's Madnessssssssss, Madnesss, they call it Madness!


Of course the real winner is Baggi, and the Madness boys hope that we all can raise lots of money to help him realise his dream. see you Sunday
