Thats not very charitable Mr Scuff.........

If they go down they might take us with them

After all, it was probably Mr Lea who suggested the idea to Mr Cowan in the first place

As I answered on ITS Scuff, do your lot still have the stuff they collected last year and if so can we have it? .
Maybe there should be a pool of "household items" for ISL clubs to tap into 8-).
OR
Maybe the EDA would like to contribute some Teal and Orange duvet sets (dives for cover.....at the suggestion of wasting drinkie money).
What gets me is, why do they always ask for toasters?, do our chums from across the pond not know that placing bread under a warm grill will produce the desired effect. Mind you, knowing Mr Cowan it's one primus stove between three 8-)

I just hope....

you lot never have to go to a final in the rickety old bus that we used at the end of Darren Browns reign.....still, I guess you'll just be glad if you make it to a final .

Regards

Doom

Unfortunatly

September 11 2002, 9:47 PM

I have to agree with what scuff is saying, purley on the principle of it all.

I remember the last league game of the grand-slam year there, and all there fans was waiving £20 or £50 notes (i am already waiting for sum1 to correct me, probabily can guess who though), when the steelers was in the mire.

I hope it is'nt the beginning of the end for the storm. I have many friends on wrong side on pennines who wud be gutted if the storm wud finish.

Lets hope for better news from there........

Like another win for the steelers on sunday.

I never

September 14 2002, 12:50 PM

had the pleasure of going to Wembley, but as u obviously had, then my only choice is that I have to take ur word for it.

BUT ALSO they got there revenge in the grand slam year. When we lost 5-0 there we had 100's of £20 (real ones this time, showing to the world how the panthers use the money for the wage cap as it aint on players thats for cert :D), but to this day we have never done anything like that to Manchester, which was the point I was trying to make.

Obviously the message did not get through.

BDS

(PS: can someone confirm either way if the Panthers have block 103 for 21/9/02 game)

The End Of The Storm

September 12 2002, 4:35 PM

Or any 1 of the clubs in the ISL at the moment would mean the end of hockey as we have come to know it over the last 5 or so years. Wether thats a good or a bad thing is a big can of worms in itself.
