Tomorrow's game (important)

Just an idea I'd like feedback on.
Tomorrow is "Peace For A Day" Day and, seeing as how we have our own battle against "The Dark Side", I wonder whether Dave would publicise the day? Lots of details (and a downloadable song, playable at the Arena *hint hint*) are on the website www.peaceoneday.org . At the moment 35 countries in the world are at war, and the organisers of Peace For A Day (in association with Richard Branson/Virgin) have been to the leaders of most of those countries persuading them to hold fire for one day (Sept.21st), to allow people to move freely through the country and halt the war for that day. This allows families to meet, and children to get vaccinations as they can travel safely to the medical centres.
Peace One Day has only been around since 1999, but already is spreading, and we could help spread further by publicising it.
What do others think?? I've e-mailed Dave Simms to see what he says.

Love,
KuwtieBunny xxx =

Peace

I hope there will be peace in the world forever rather than one day, but im sorry to say this is not real life. Its good to prmote a peacefull world and I will support the campaign. Tomorrows clash with the Panthers is different. Its not about love and war, its much more than that. It will be a battle and relished by both sides.

Er, good points people! It WAS only an idea, you see, what made me think of it was that one of the Charity's themes is white=peace, and....well...since tomorrow is(was?) going to be a White Out Night...see where I'm coming from? Fair point, the last thing on anyone's mind during a Panthers game is peace, but my idea of it was "We have our own battle going on here, but in most of the 35 countries at war in the world today, there's peace because...." kinda thing.

Oh well, if you never put an idea forward, you'll never know! Hopefully we'll have a more suitable game for these sentiments next year! Thanx for the feedback!

Love,

(PS..Tambo:- Re Dave, though he wasn't overly keen on the idea (obv!!) he did get back to me very quickly about it, credit where it's due many people wouldn't have bothered! Thanks Dave!)
