| Belfast V Giants .. final hooter goes , Adey says well done lads , now look forward to saturdays game against the steelers. Certain Nottingham players look at each other and decide to start a fight to make sure they are banned for the game against the Steelers......

..maybe the view from the press gallery the last time the Panthers were in town was just too good to miss this time round!
'Twil be interesting to see what the ISL Disciplinary Committee make of the antics at the Odyssey last night. I seem to recall the last time someone got a 'travesty' penalty it resulted in a whopping great ban (was it 11 matches..?) and a four figure fine. I also recall that Dennis V got a ban for squirting water at someone in the crowd and that Kruse got a ban for giving someone in the Ayr crowd the finger last season. I'm told by a Giants fan that similar incidents occurred last night. If the ISL disciplinary committee applies the same standards again the Panthers bench on Saturday could be very sparse indeed. |

do we really expect the ISL Disciplinary commitee to apply the same standards to each incident in isolation, or select the 1 or 2 major incidents and forget the rest? If we are to see consistency (and take into account previous disciplinary records) the Panthers & Steelers benches may be the same in terms of numbers on Saturday. | |
