Tickets for Nottingham appear to be selling well , despite the best efforts of the NIC staff. I've just rung to book four tickets and was offered block eight , is that with the Steelers fans I asked ? , err... I'll have to put you on hold. Several minutes later the person I was dealing with confessed to not being aware of there being blocks allocated to away fans.. DOH. Anyway.. managed to get them.. the LAST group of 4 seats in the away blocks , so if you want to go and havent got your tickets yet.. give 'em a ring on 0870 1210123. But be warned , you may end up talking to the booking office equivalent of Barry Nieckar.. unless... no .. It cant have been.. could it.. I mean.. its not like he's playing any hockey at the moment , ok he never has but... Barry was that you ?

For anyone ringing the NIC, be aware that they release tickets in blocks - so they may tell you one day that there are only 1's & 2's left (say) in block 3. Then when they have been sold they will release the whole of another (normally unused) block (say 19 or 18).

It sounds crazy but it's true - happened to us last match and was confirmed as current policy by the NIC.

In otherwords, if they "sold out" ask if there are any blocks remaining to be released. For info the away blocks are released in the order:-

3, 2, 1, 19, 18
