| What no comment about the game?
I must say that Panthers deserved the win. For once they played hockey without Barry and Woods. Just think if Adey actually had playmakers and shooters instead of No 13,44 and 49 then Panthers could have been the team to beat.
One troubling aspect about the Steelers game was that Panthers were faster on the ice than us!!! Blazer did make a point of having a fast team but we were second best that night. They were stronger and more physical with only the smallest guy for us, our 95, doing much hitting! Darling, Syzsky and Duts looked knackered in the second period. Is there something wrong with the team? Flu?
Also, have you noticed how poor our passing is of late? Passes flying wide and behind players but more noticeable to the other team. Panthers had so many turn overs. I know it's nearly Xmas but giving away is not better than receiving!
Like I say overall Panthers deserved the win IMHO but we must play better than that or we'll be out of the semi's that's for sure! |

Got to agree with Buffy. Where were the Steelers last night? After the first period we couldn't contain the Pants. Hate to say this but the best team won that game. Maybe a two week break has been too long and some of the team are still in holiday mode. Let's hope we start to see the slick passing and fast skating again. Disappointing to say the least considering it was the first game they'd played with a full roster for ages. Performances like that don't bode well for the CC semi finals BUT on the bright side there's time to get back on the right track before then. | |
