Apparently

December 4 2002, 2:45 PM

...Panther's fans have been saying that he was eligible to play on Sunday but hurt his wee back in training. Hopefully he is feeling better, on the condition that Schulte is also feeling better. If both play next sunday I would say some fisticuffs may be in order.

Kruse may want to ask Clarke to dance again.

'tis but a crock...

Sunday was Panthers' eighth game after the incident in Belfast, and hence Nickers was still suspended.

He is eligible to get a pasting on Sunday though. Cue Mr. Kruse?

Did you get your information from Iceweb?

Nikes missed these 8 games through suspension:
02/11 @ Sheffield
03/11 Home vs Eagles
09/11 Home vs Giants
12/11 Home vs Knights
16/11 Home vs Bracknell
17/11 @ London
21/11 @ Bracknell
23/11 Home vs Steelers

He missed Sunday's game due to injury. I haven't checked but I imagine the Eagles game (03/11) isn't listed on Iceweb. Before any smart alec tries to claim that game shouldn't count I'm fairly sure that other players suspended during Storm or Eagles' games this season have played since and haven't been forced to miss an extra game. You never know with the ISL though. It could be fun if they try to enforce it given all the disciplinary hearings at the start of the season. Would they ever get the maths right?
