I liked Kruser when I saw him last year for you guys but now i get to see him frequently i realise what an outstanding player he is.All the tough guy stuff is a given.He's never a "Hollywood" player but its all in small detail.Right place at the right time etc,the threat of an impending hit from him causes a lot of players to make a pass the didnt want to,stopping an attack or giving a turnover.When he parks in front of the crease he's almost unmovable.He's not huge but he is so strong.

You've hit the nail on the head... hockey is a game with twelve people on the ice, and only one can have the puck at any given time. It's what the other eleven are doing that decides the game, and Kruse is one of those guys who is always in position, he reads the play so well, rarely gets caught out defensively... and while he might not score a ton of goals, he comes good when you need one, like we needed him in the playoffs last year. Class act all round.
At one point last year, I think we were about sixteen games into the season, and Kruser had not been on the ice for a single goal against us bar on the powerplay!
For what it's worth I thought he was the player of the season for us last year.
His vision on the ice is second to none and as Grapes said his presence was enough to put others off their game. Yes he is tough but rarely has to prove it.
All in I was pretty Pi**ed when he signed for Giant this year.
A lot of other fans are more than capable of seeing past the flash, however most of them are put off posting much on the kingdom because of loud mouthed numpties like you!!! Your arrogance is collosal. And before you go off on one over this post being anonymous, this is because I have no intention of getting into a flame war with the likes of you. This will be my one and only post on the subject, so either pay attention and change your ways or get over the fact that you have been criticised, I won't be answering any further posts.
Grapes i think you've got it all in your first post. For me he is the toughest guy in thr league, the strongest guy in the league, best body checker in the league, best/worst temper in the league, and the biggest on ice presence iv'e seen. All in all, a pretty valuable player.
