The same stick that he picked up off the ice before practicing his agricultural skills.

Play was stopped while an fight / melee was happening

Either he was terrified of the thought that the fight may be getting too close for his own comfort or he was looking for a head to remove from a neck.

Either way in my very humble opinion it looked like intent to injure!

Even his own manager physically dragged along his own bench before putting him on the wrong end of a one sided conversation (call that a major chewing out).
