Some of you EDA regulars know steve and jack robinson .. cheeky couple of lads who are a credit to their dad... not content with the younger sprat managing to con an estate agent out of £20 on thursday night at the Arena ( HEAR HEAR ) the eldest volunteered to referee a inline hockey game between bipha senior league team the don valley vipers and the Sheffield Steelheads. I'm not sure how old he is but he was dwarfed by the players as we took to the rink. To his credit he did a bloody good job , called what was needed and ignored the occasional bit of theatrics , in fact he did a better job than many so called "proper" referees have done. A public well done and thanks....... you can referee our games anytime.
And before anyone says ... its only because they won... we didnt.
