WRKL memories

I was a stringer for WRKL for a summer during my college years in the early 90's. During that time I covered various events, board meetings and the like - returning to the studio afterwards to record and re-record stories until I felt they were the best they could be. I would often be working there until 4 AM on the stories - all for about $15 per story. I loved the job!
I vividly recall doing one particular story - on the vacant, dilapidated old drive-in movie theater on Rt. 59 in Spring Valley which I predicted would be torn down and re-purposed in short order. Well I guess I was wrong about that one.
I enjoyed my time at WRKL a great deal and learned a great deal. After college graduation I embarked on a career in television production with the NBA. I was there for 15 and a half years.
