An interesting memory, and one that is probably shared by a generation of visitors to the station. There used to be a constant parade of Cub Scout packs, school groups, etc. that came by the station for a look behind the scenes of WRKL. Part of the tour was walking into the on air studio and getting to say your name on the air. Sometimes you even left with a promo 45 RPM record.
Like the 45, the old WRKL is no more.
