Response to World Armenian Congress worried over church destruction
I live in Iasi, a Romanian town located in the NE part pf the country. There is an Armenian church in the center of the town in danger of ruining, built cca. the year 1300 and rebuilt in 1600.
I am interested to find out if there are any sources of financing for the renovation of the Armenian churches. It would be a beautiful monument to be re-entered in our town's touristic circuit.
Unfortunately I have no pictures of it and I have found none on the Internet.
If anyone can help me with information on how the Armenian churches can be renovated through international funds, please respond to this message.
I will do my best to announce the local authorities on these funds and on any ways of renovating this beautiful curch, if any information available.
