There are many sources on the Kiurikians of Lori, and nothing too mysterious about them. Indeed, they happen to be the only Armenian dynasty of the period to have struck coins in their names. They also managed to outlive by some 70 years the Bagratid kingdom of Ani. If you read Armenian, start with the article in the Soviet Armenian Encyclopaedia (vol. 5, pp. 493-94), which will provide you some sources. Also look into Hewsen's Atlas of Armenia, in English, etc.
