On September 15-28, Yerevan will host the exhibition
"My Dear Brother. Armenians in Turkey 100 years ago". Organized upon
the initiative of Civilitas foundation and Turkish Birzamanlar
publishing house, exhibition will display hundreds of postcards by
Orlando Kolumelo, portraying Armenian people's life in Ottoman empire
in 1900-1910. Postcards also include pictures of Armenian churches,
schools, plants and restaurants.

'My Dear Brother' exhibition, organized in Istanbul in 2005 displayed
500 samples of those postcards. Exhibition organizer was Osman Koker
who compiled a book of that collection.

Publisher himself confesses that it was very hard to get the book
published Turkey since no publishing house wanted to run the risk of
introducing Armenian people's contribution to their country's
development. That's why Koker had to open his own publishing house -
Birzamanlar.

Osman Koker plans to attend exhibition opening due in Moscow Theatre
on September 15, Civilitas foundation reports.
