      Found a reference to the Red Lion at Castleton by doing a search/enlarge on this old map site.

      The pub is named, roughly opposite the guisborough turning, very close to the downe arms. As so much in the village has changed it's hard to say exact position.

      The site does provide some fascinating material wherever you want to look for.
