Hi Everyone, We come to North Yorks at least 4 time a year, and every Feb for our wedding anneversary, We got to Whitby on 23rd Feb we tried twice on tat day to get to the lion, from both ways, Castleton and Hutton Le Hole, both were blocked, we tried yeat again on the 24 and 25, no chance, massive ammounts of snow, and locals telling us to go no further, but we tried, we almost got stuck on the Hutton Le Hole end and had to dig a little. Anyway we ended up eating at Whitby (very nice food) but not a patch on the Lion, and no Fireplace. We now will have to break from tradition and make this year five visits.
