Once again we enjoyed a visit to the lion.

On a wet day we had to shelter from the rain and enjoyed a cup of coffee.

At 10 50am we noticed your staff filing into the bar area for the 11 o-clock two minutes silence. We stood with them and observed the silence as one. I found this extremely moving and satisfying to see young people who are prepared to respect those who gave all during the wars. Can I congratulate you and your staff for the way in which everybody conducted them selves at such a poignant moment?

Itís a pity that the few other customers didnít realise what everyone else was doing until one of the staff pointed it out to them.

Many thanks and we will see you again soon.

PS the meal later on that day was still up the usual high standard. Congratulations.

      John & Ann
