To one and all, a very big thanks not only from Chris and I who arranged the run, but from all those that came along on the day.
After a bit of a panic when one member over cooked a left hander, we got back on time and arrived with you for 1415 hours, no sooner had we got our drinks were we being taken through to the dining room. A bit of a hiccup with two members having to order food on the day (well there is always someone) but once this was sorted the food was out and everyone was tucking in.
I have not had one bad report from any of those that had a meal, and if its another way of saying how good it was, I have been asked to keep the run for next year and also been asked if I could perhaps arrange an alternative route later in the year stopping of at The Lion Inn. So they must have been impressed.
The weather this year did play a part in a smaller than expected turn out, I am sure by word of mouth and if it is run next year, we will bring more.
So rather than rabbit on, once again many thanks to you and all your staff for an excellent meal and warm hospitality.
