Hello, we have been to the lion in a couple of times and i have to say it is my favorite place in the world,It is such a beautiful area. What makes it even more special is that on the 5th July 2008 my fiance proposed just outside the front door ( before and alcohol had touched his lips) we had been for a walk in the pouring rain and i was soaked to the skin not attractive but he got down on one knee and pulled this amazing ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him, So the lion inn will always have a very special place in my heart xxx we plan to return at least once a year for the rest of our lives.
