We spent three nights at the Lion Inn in November. We would like to thank all the staff for making it a wonderful short break. The food was quite stunning - starters or sandwiches, breakfast or dinner, every meal we had was of a very high standard indeed, (the homemade chips were delicious
) and we didn't even have time to sample the a la carte menu! The steak was the best we've ever had.
The rooms were lovely, the location provided plenty of peace and isolation, but the staff were also warm and friendly and there was always someone in the bar, providing everything we were looking for. And of course, the moors were breathtaking, even in heavy mist
