A very big thank you to you all for making our Golden Wedding Lunch last Sunday such a happy and memorable occassion.
We have been coming up there for meals and occassional nights B&B for many years - long before you had the new dining room and bedrooms - and have always felt it such a special place, and you have still retained that special atmosphere. It is a wonderful warm feeling when you open the door (no - not just the open fire!).
Anyway, we wanted to share this wonderful bit of heaven called The Lion with our friends. Yes, they were all so happy, comfortable and impressed with the place, food, welcome, warm atmosphere, food (again!) - in fact everything - and it made a perfect close to what has been a very memorable, lovely weekend for us. 50 years! Phew! Some guests had long journeys to make after lunch, at least they wouldn't be Hungry!
Many thanks to all of you. We'll be up there again quite soon - can't keep away for long.
