I would just like to say on behalf of my husband chris and myself that the Lion Inn is the best pub ever!!! We have been coming to the Lion for quite a while now, and the food and ale is fantastic. We would just like to thank all the staff for providing a very warm welcome. We look forward to our next visit, and many, many more visits to come.
great setting, great meals and when I stopped over one weekend , only £30 per night Oct to Apr.clean warm aroom with good faciliies and the bathroom was a joy to behold- spotless-incredible service! and the breakfast Toast,bacon, scrambled egg, fried egg, mushrooms, beans, sausages, fried bread, hash browns, tomatoes, any choice of fruit, any choice of juices, any cereal you could name, set me up for my walk to goathland and back. best regards to the management and staff who were and always are as social and helpful as possible. just wish I could get down there more often.
