We visited the Lion over the New Year for the first time and loved it. It was recommended to us by Steve and Julie from Enderby Station www.thewagons.co.uk where we syaed for a few days. They mentioned something about a Theakstons event. We are great fans of Old Peculier and enjoyed a few when we called in. Are you having any theakstons events in the near future.

Sorry, not sure what they meant. The only "Theakstons event" we have ever had was a promotion for Old Peculier about 20 years ago. There was a heavy snowfall so no-one could get here, leaving just the staff and a few locals to drink all the free barrels of OP, what a night...!

No, there are no Theakstons events planned for the future, although I would highly recommend their brewery tour - http://www.theakstons.co.uk
