For a while I worked in a tea-shop over the road from the Lion (It's the only other building whithin quite a few miles of the Lion!) I don't know whether it is still a tea-shop, but it afforded amazing views across, and down, Rosedale, the old Iron workings on the other side of the dale, etc... Many an evening in the pub over the road! Great memories.
