I have repartitioned (1 partit)and formatted a 6.4 Gig hdd which had win98 on it and now I want to put xp on it.This is a new system AMD1800 Asus m/b only the hdd is 2/hand. I have changed Bios to boot from the cd rom and after XP goes through the prelim setup and gets to lic accept pressing F8 does not activate anything as lock up occours. Any ideas?????????
